Kendra J. Finestead is a Certified Holistic Nutrition Practitioner who has been helping families navigate special diets since 2008. Kendra's passion for food as a healing mechanism grew from her personal experience with her daughter, who was nearly placed on the Autism spectrum and saw life-changing results from dietary changes.
Since that time, Kendra has made it her mission to help other families who want to approach their health (both brain & belly) from a dietary perspective.
Kendra has a dual certification as a Holistic Nutrition Practitioner and a Natural Health Practitioner, and has furthered her concentration in the Bioindividual Approach with the Bioindividual Nutrition Institute. Over the past 6 years, Kendra has worked as a personal chef for special diets, founded a non-profit (Greater Tots Organization) to help families get educated on special diets, co-authored an allergy-free cookbook (Food For Thought: The Free Food Cookbook) with Dr Gus Kotsanis of the Kotsanis Institute, worked with several physicians in DFW area to assist families through diet changes, and all the while has maintained her own children's healing and nourishing daily diets. She is passionate about helping kids (and adults) heal from underlying causes of ADHD, Autism, Allergies, Asthma, and other health (both brain & belly) challenges in a gentle and HEALTHY way! She truly believes in the miracles that can be achieved through some simple diet changes. Encouraging and supporting families on special diets is her God-given purpose and passion.
We offer a range of holistic nutrition consulting services to help you formulate a daily diet for anyone's optimal health. We believe that our food is our underlying groundwork for our health. We need the right foods for our individual body and we need to be able to use them. That is nutrition simplified. We believe that the brain connects to the belly, and that, more importantly, the BELLY connects to the BRAIN!
